Junior Planning Executive

Location: Baghdad – Karada, Arasat Al-Hindyia Working Days: Sunday – Thursday Reporting to: Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary:

Ekur Market is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Planning Executive to join our Supply Chain team. The role will support merchandising and planning activities through sales analysis, inventory monitoring, forecasting support, and performance reporting to ensure product availability and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting • Run and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering sales, inventory, markdowns, and product performance. • Track category contributions, sell-through rates, and store-level performance. • Prepare accurate reports and provide insights to support planning decisions.

Inventory Management• Monitor stock levels, product availability, overstocks, low stocks, and out-of-stock items.• Support the maintenance of safety stock levels and minimum display requirements. • Ensure balanced inventory levels across stores and distribution channels.

Cross-Functional Collaboration• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Marketing, and Store Operations teams to execute product and seasonal plans. • Assist in identifying and resolving product availability gaps and operational challenges.

Forecasting Support • Support the development of seasonal, monthly, and weekly demand forecasts. • Assist senior planners in improving forecast accuracy and inventory planning. • Analyze sales trends and customer demand patterns to support planning activities.

Key Requirements, Skills & Qualifications:

Education • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Analytical Skills• Strong numerical and analytical skills.•

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is an advantage.

Software Knowledge• Familiarity with retail planning and ERP

systems. • Experience with SAP is highly preferred.

Soft Skills • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
